Women Occupy New Building on August 9, 2007!

The residents of the Nancy Cole Women's Home spent their first night in the new building on Thursday, August 9, 2007!  It was a wonderful celebration as the women and girls toured the new facility and saw the bright, new bedrooms, the commercial cooking equipment, the six showers (!), the recreation room (unfurnished), the library, the bright dining hall, etc.  The mission's team from Virginia formed a "tunnel" and cheered as the residents entered the chapel.  It was a moving celebration and we thank the many people who have supported this project.  We are not finished - just beginning - as we work with Pastor Lilliam and Camino de Vida to expand and enrich the program.

Here is the outside of the building (which will be painted to include murals):

What a beautiful example of God's goodness.  Here are the women and girl enjoying the new home (a very high percentage of teenagers):

More later.  God is good!
